That is correct! I will be traveling to Illinois and will be on-site at the hotel where the pageant is taking place.

Please don’t be alarmed if your confirmation text or email lists my location as Wisconsin. That is where my business is based; however, I will be traveling to you for pageant week.

I travel with all of my equipment and supplies and will be set up in a hotel room. Your spray tan will take place there. It will be just myself, you, and anyone you choose to have present during your service.

Once I arrive at the hotel during pageant week and receive the room number, I will send you a text message with the exact room location where you’ll come for your tan.

I will be arriving at the hotel (Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel) Tuesday afternoon during pageant week.
Once I check in and receive my room number, I will text you directly with the exact room number where you’ll come to for your spray tan.

• Please arrive wearing clothing that is easy and quick to remove, as I will likely be tanning clients back-to-back.

• During your tan, wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Most competitors choose to go nude to avoid tan lines, but panties, pasties, or a bra are absolutely okay too, just be sure to supply your own if needed.

• This is your tan — my goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and happy with your results.

And because we’re all women, let’s address the question that always comes up:

“What if I’m on my period but don’t want tan lines?”

If you feel comfortable, going nude is completely fine. A tampon string showing does not bother me at all — we’ve all been there! 

As a RN of 10+ years, I’ve seen it all.  So please know that you are tanning in a safe, professional, and completely judgment-free space. My job is to make this an easy, stress-free part of your pageant week.

Please don’t stress or overthink these instructions. If you’re not able to follow everything perfectly, that is completely okay. Your tan will still turn out beautifully — just do the best you can. If you have any specific questions, I’m always here to help.

I primarily use a brand called SunnaTan, a client-favorite express solution. Most clients rinse 3–5 hours after application, though experienced tanners may leave it on longer or overnight. Fair skin tones or those wanting a lighter result should rinse within the recommended window.

This solution is also makeup-friendly and can be applied over Glam’s makeup, allowing you to get your spray tan and continue on with your day as usual — especially when I’m using the clear solution.

Your tan will fully develop over 18–24 hours, so be sure to schedule accordingly.

The main difference between the two is how they look immediately after application. Clear solution goes on clear, meaning you’ll leave looking exactly the same as when you arrived. Tinted solution applies with a visible bronzer, and some transfer onto clothing should be expected.

Regardless of which option you choose, the final tan result is the same. Both solutions are rinsed off within the same timeframe, and all post-tan care instructions remain the same.

Clear is the most popular choice due to minimal clothing transfer, a drier feel on the skin, and the ability to continue on with your day easily after your appointment. After a quick consultation prior to your tan, we will decide together as to which is best for you or if there is a preferance on your part.

The following information is important after your tan and is provided here so you can easily refer back to it later.

Have you ever noticed hands looking orange after a spray tan? I definitely don’t want that for you. This is the most important aftercare step for ensuring a flawless result. I can apply your tan perfectly, but once you leave, hand care is key.

Hand Aftercare Instructions:

Step 1: About 30–60 minutes post-tan, gently wash your hands. Avoid splashing water onto your arms — water should touch hands only.

Step 2: Pat hands dry.

Step 3: Apply lotion to hands and the inside of wrists only (not the arms). Keeping hands well hydrated helps prevent over-saturation.

Step 4: Using a dry towel, firmly wipe your palms to remove any excess solution spread during lotion application.

Step 5: Repeat this process two more times before your first full rinse.

Following these steps is essential to avoid dark, over-saturated hands.

As a thank you for trusting me with your tan, one free touch-up is included if needed. Most clients won’t need it, but it’s always nice to have a little “insurance” for your glam!

If a touch-up is necessary, it must be completed no later than Thursday afternoon BEFORE the Sparkle Party. Most touch-ups are quick and take less than 5 minutes.

There are some retail options I will have on hand to lengthen and enhance the life of your tan.  These are also great to have on hand to use in the future for a DIY glow ✨

This is a question I get often. Everyone is genuinely pleasantly surprised by the set up when they walk into the  hotel room.  Here is a photo so you can better understand what to expect. The bathroom is set up with a fan so you have an area to dry if needed. The stand up tent is where you will stand during the tanning application. It’s a nice and clean set up. Hopefully, this helps you know better what to expect if you're feeling unsure.

As a reminder, the day you arrive for your appointment, if the hotel room door is closed, this means I am in with the individual schedule prior to you. Please wait patiently in the hall outside of the room until your scheduled appointment time.
